Description

You will develop data engineering solutions using Python and Spark to improve process efficiencies and data performance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop tools and techniques to enhance data performance and process efficiencies.
• Review and test data for accuracy and validity before uploading to the data lake.
• Troubleshoot issues and perform data analysis to support business priorities.
• Oversee delivery within a Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) environment.

Required Skills

• 3-8 years of experience in data engineering, preferably in US healthcare.
• Proficiency in Python and Spark (PySpark).
• Strong SQL skills.
• Experience with data movement and analytics development.
• Familiarity with Hadoop or similar big data environments.
• Knowledge of version control systems like GIT or Subversion.
• Understanding of data formats including JSON, YAML, CSV, and Tab Delimited.
• Experience with Unit Testing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java and Springboot.
• Familiarity with CI tools like Bamboo and Jira.
