Develop and maintain scalable Python applications for the Global Research and Analytics team in Boston, MA.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and maintain efficient Python applications and software solutions.
• Collaborate with business teams to gather requirements and design maintainable code.
• Debug software defects and optimize application performance and scalability.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Python Developer.
• Strong proficiency in Python and frameworks such as pandas, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Proven experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Knowledge of relational databases and ORM libraries like SQLAlchemy.
• Experience with MySQL and version control using Git.
• Working knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies.
• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience implementing financial calculations and applications.
• Experience with AWS, Docker, Kubernetes, or DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with React.
