Description

You will lead the automation and orchestration of complex data workflows using Python, migrating legacy systems to modern infrastructure.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain fault-tolerant, auditable data pipelines across on-prem Oracle systems.
• Migrate legacy scheduling logic from Perl and PLSQL to Python-based Apache Airflow DAGs.
• Build and deploy custom Airflow operators and sensors for Oracle, REST API integrations, and file transfers.
• Implement error handling, alerting, retry, and monitoring mechanisms for production jobs.
• Collaborate with DBAs and application teams to analyze job dependencies and data lineage.

Required Skills

• 2 years of professional experience in Python development.
• Strong proficiency in Oracle 19c, SQL, and PLSQL.
• Experience with REST API integration.
• Knowledge of Perl and legacy scheduling logic.
• Experience using Bitbucket and Jenkins for CI/CD workflows.
• Ability to manage data workflows and orchestration tasks.
