Description

Design and build cloud-native applications and data systems on AWS using Python.

You will design and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS S3, DynamoDB, Step Functions, and Lambda. Develop Lambda functions using boto3 to interact programmatically with AWS resources. Orchestrate complex workflows by creating and managing AWS Step Functions. Execute data migration strategies from existing databases to DynamoDB, including schema and indexing optimization. Provision infrastructure using Terraform and manage access via IAM roles and policies.

Responsibilities

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python and AWS Lambda function design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS S3 and DynamoDB.
• Experience using boto3 for AWS service interaction.
• Knowledge of AWS Step Functions for workflow orchestration.
• Experience with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Ability to configure AWS CloudWatch for monitoring and error tracking.
• Experience managing IAM roles and policies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience configuring Okta as an identity provider for secure user authentication and federated identity management.
• Collaboration with DevOps teams to align git branching strategies with CI/CD pipelines.
