Description

You will develop and maintain backend services using Python 3 and AWS serverless architecture, translating business requirements into clean, standardized code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop serverless applications using AWS Lambda, S3, SQS, and the SAM Framework.
• Build and maintain HTTP APIs and event-driven systems.
• Debug and troubleshoot existing Python codebases.
• Implement CI/CD and automated deployment processes.
• Collaborate with remote teams across multiple timezones using Jira and Confluence.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python 3.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including Lambda, S3, and SQS.
• Proficiency with the SAM Framework for serverless development.
• Experience with Python tooling such as ruff and pypi.
• Strong understanding of Git and GitHub workflows.
• Knowledge of TDD and BDD methodologies.
• Experience working with relational databases.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Postgres, CircleCI, JavaScript, Shopify APIs, or GitHub Codespaces.
