Description

Build and maintain high-availability, low-latency Python applications for server-side logic.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write reusable, testable, and efficient code for core application logic.
• Design and implement performant applications using databases, key-value stores, and blob stores.
• Integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic and multiple data sources.
• Create database schemas that support business processes.
• Implement security, data protection, and authentication/authorization across systems.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Expert-level Python proficiency.
• Experience with Django or Flask web frameworks.
• Deep understanding of Python threading limitations and multi-process architecture.
• Strong unit testing and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with ORM libraries and server-side templating languages.
• Knowledge of event-driven programming in Python.
• Proficiency with code versioning tools like Git, Mercurial, or SVN.
• Understanding of fundamental design principles for scalable applications.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with accessibility and security compliance.
