Description

You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python, including custom rule engines and data processing pipelines.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop Python and PySpark programs for data analysis and business transformations.
• Design custom frameworks for rule generation similar to rule engines.
• Gather data from HBase and implement solutions using PySpark DataFrames/RDDs.
• Develop back-end services and APIs, integrating databases and managing Hive Context read/write operations.
• Optimize applications for performance, security, and maintainability while troubleshooting defects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python development.
• Strong proficiency with Apache Spark and PySpark, including DataFrames and RDDs.
• Experience building back-end services and RESTful APIs.
• Hands-on experience with HBase and Hive.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Proven track record of maintaining software solutions for performance and security.
