Description

You will design, develop, and maintain backend and data solutions for high-volume distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services and data pipelines using Python.
• Design distributed systems handling high-volume data processing.
• Collaborate with product, design, and data science teams.
• Apply engineering best practices including TDD, BDD, CI/CD, SRE, and DevSecOps.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster a culture of technical learning.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python and JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and GCP cloud environments.
• Experience with Kafka, Snowflake, BigQuery, Spark, Hadoop, PostgreSQL, and Redis.
• Familiarity with distributed systems architecture.
• Knowledge of AWS Athena.
• Experience with Agile, TDD/BDD, and DevSecOps workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Background in AdTech or SaaS product engineering.
