Description

You will own the evolution of a production Python application, shifting its core logic from code to a database-first architecture.

Responsibilities

• Refactor application logic from Python into efficient, optimized database operations.
• Design and implement complex SQL queries, data models, and schema structures.
• Build, deploy, and manage applications and databases within Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance bottlenecks and data integrity issues.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure system scalability and reliability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience in production environments.
• Advanced SQL proficiency, including query optimization, stored procedures, and schema design.
• Hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) for deployment and management.
• Proven track record of refactoring legacy codebases and transitioning to database-centric designs.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical education.
• Ability to balance backend service logic with database efficiency.
