Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Python and AWS.

Responsibilities

• Build and deploy applications using Python and Django.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and workflows using AWS Lambda, Step Functions, and Glue.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
• Interact directly with clients to communicate technical requirements and project updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: Step Functions, Lambda, IAM, Glue, SNS, SQS, and EventBridge.
• Proficiency with Amazon SQS and JSON.
• Experience managing PostgreSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Working knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and Django.
• Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a contract-to-hire capacity.
• Proximity to Nashville for occasional onsite requirements.
