Description

You will build and maintain Gen AI applications and agent endpoints using Python.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement features using Python with a focus on asynchronous patterns (async/await, context managers).
• Design and build agent endpoints using FastAPI or Flask, ensuring proper API schemas and validation.
• Handle data exchange using JSON and structured outputs via Pydantic.
• Implement resilient network patterns such as retries, backoff, and circuit breakers for HTTP/streaming services.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience with Python.
• Expertise in Gen AI and OpenAI models.
• Proficiency with LangChain and prompt engineering within Python.
• Experience with asynchronous programming (async/await, typing, dataclasses).
• Knowledge of HTTP/streaming protocols (requests/httpx, Server Sent Events, WebSockets).
• Familiarity with API design using FastAPI or Flask and OpenAPI schemas.
• Experience with authentication mechanisms including OAuth and JWT.
• Understanding of data handling with Pandas for light ETL and datetime/timezone management.
