Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines and warehousing architectures using Python.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop ETL pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from diverse sources into Data Warehouses and Data Marts.
• Design, code, configure, test, debug, and document system programs following the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct technical validations, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
• Evaluate functional requirements and design documents to provide technical feedback and prepare design specifications.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues while collaborating with other developers to ensure code consistency.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10 years of practical IT experience.
• Extensive Python development experience.
• Expertise in ETL pipeline development.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing architecture, including Star Schema, Snowflake Schema, Facts, and Dimensions.
• Experience with Unix environments.
• Proficiency with GitHub for code management.
• Experience with CI/CD workflows.
• Experience with cloud databases, specifically Snowflake.
• Experience with scheduling tools, specifically Control M.

Preferred Skills

• Use of Visual Studio Code as a primary IDE.
• Experience using GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
