Description

Develop and deliver complex software solutions meeting functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. You will own the code lifecycle from refinement to deployment.

Responsibilities

• Code server-side solutions and unit tests to meet acceptance criteria and integration standards.
• Contribute to story refinement, requirement definition, and work estimation throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Perform technical spikes and proof of concepts to mitigate risk or implement new ideas.
• Collaborate with the team to resolve technical complexities and manage branching, pull requests, and merge conflicts.
• Maintain test suites (integration, regression, performance) and provide second-level application support.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of server-side development experience with C# and Python.
• Strong experience building REST API services.
• Proficiency in database development using SQL Server, Oracle, or Sybase (Object and Relational).
• Hands-on experience writing unit and UI integration test cases.
• Proficiency with source code management using BitBucket or Git.
• Experience using JIRA and Continuous Integration tools.
• Ability to debug applications and communicate complex technical solutions to business users.
• Background in Financial, Commodities Trading, or Investment Banking environments.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with web services, web sockets, and microservice-based architecture.
• Exposure to enterprise messaging solutions such as MSMQ, TIBCo EMS, or AMPS.
