Description

You will develop complex user interfaces and backend logic using Python and Django, managing the full deployment lifecycle from development to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements and data access needs to propose file and screen designs.
• Design database tables and manage data movement from SQL Servers using stored procedures and triggers.
• Deploy applications across development, QA, staging, and production environments.
• Conduct unit, integration, and user acceptance testing while collaborating on debugging.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Advanced Python development, including packaging functionality, namespaces, environments, and data structures.
• PySpark development and experience building and debugging PySpark jobs.
• Experience working within the Hadoop ecosystem.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming using Python, Java, or C++.
• Experience building and debugging RESTful interfaces and REST services.
• Knowledge of multi-threaded programming and strong data structures.
• Ability to analyze large datasets to draw actionable conclusions.
• Comfort working in a Unix environment.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working effectively within globally distributed teams and matrix organizations.
