Description

Design and build backend components for an MLOps platform on AWS. Collaborate with cross-functional teams across different geographic locations. Participate in an on-call rotation to manage and resolve production incidents.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend components within an AWS-based MLOps environment.
• Develop concurrent programming designs using AsyncIO.
• Implement unit and functional testing frameworks.
• Apply CI/CD practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Collaborate with distributed teams on production incident resolution.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of professional backend web development experience using Python.
• Strong experience with AWS services including RDS, Redshift, S3, and EFS.
• Proficiency with web frameworks such as Flask, Django, or FastAPI.
• Experience with WSGI and ASGI servers like Gunicorn or Uvicorn.
• Knowledge of concurrent programming designs, specifically AsyncIO.
• Experience with unit and functional testing frameworks.
• Background in public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Practical experience with CI/CD practices, tools, and frameworks.
• Degree in Computer Science or a related field; MS preferred.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Kafka and developing Python client applications.
• Familiarity with MLOps platforms like AWS SageMaker, Kubeflow, or MLflow.
• Experience with big data processing via Apache Spark.
