Description

Design and implement production-grade Python services and AWS Lambda functions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build production-grade Python services integrating with API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and Step Functions.
• Write clean, testable code using pytest, type hints, and GitHub Actions CI/CD pipelines.
• Model and query data across relational and NoSQL stores, optimizing schemas and access patterns.
• Apply security best practices, including least privilege IAM, secrets management, and input validation.
• Collaborate with product, data, QA, and DevOps to deliver iteratively.

Required Skills

• 3–5 years of professional software engineering experience with Python in production.
• Proficiency in core Python: OOP, data structures, decorators, and concurrency (asyncio, threading).
• Experience with AWS Lambda, API Gateway, S3, DynamoDB, SQS/SNS, and Step Functions.
• Strong command of testing strategies using pytest, fixtures, and coverage tools.
• Knowledge of packaging and environments using pip/poetry and dependency management.
• Familiarity with secure coding principles, IAM policies, and secrets handling.
• Ability to handle data serialization (JSON/MsgPack/Parquet) and schema validation.
