Description

Develop Python software for electrification projects, supply chain simulation, and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Write high-quality, efficient Python code as part of a project team.
• Develop new features for existing simulation software.
• Review project requests to estimate time, requirements, and scope.
• Extract meaningful insights from complex data outputs.
• Coordinate software development and troubleshoot system issues.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience with a Computer Science degree, or 5+ years with a Master's or PhD.
• Expertise in Python development.
• Experience with data processing packages such as NumPy and pandas.
• Experience with visualization libraries including matplotlib and Plotly.
• Proficiency in SQL querying.
• Experience with Git, AWS, and Azure.
• Knowledge of the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, development, and testing.
• Experience with QA testing processes.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Discrete Event Simulation using SimPy.
• Background in Data Science.
• Experience with Azure DevOps, PowerPoint, and office tools.
