Description

You will develop and contribute to open source data science tools using Python within the Conda Forge ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain open source data science tools in the Conda Forge ecosystem.
• Build internal tooling equivalents to support enterprise adoption.
• Manage dependencies and compiled libraries (C/C++) for data science applications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design scalable, secure solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to open source projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Python for data science.
• Strong understanding of the Conda Forge ecosystem.
• Proficiency in dependency management.
• Experience working with compiled libraries (C/C++).
• Active public GitHub profile showing real code contributions.
• Proven experience contributing to open source projects.

Preferred Skills

• Demonstrated history of fixing bugs or adding features to open source projects.
