You will develop data solutions using Python within a Big Data environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Process large datasets performing joins, merges, transformations, and summaries.
• Design and implement data control checks to ensure data integrity.
• Interact with data stores using SQL capabilities.
• Develop and consume APIs for data access and integration.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Proficiency with Spark, Hive, and HDFS.
• Experience with Big Data platforms such as Hortonworks.
• Strong SQL skills for data interaction and processing.
• Experience working in a Linux environment.
• Knowledge of Scala and Java.
• Experience with RDS data processing.
