Description

You will design and implement low-latency, high-availability applications in Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement performant, high-availability applications.
• Translate technical requirements into reusable, testable, and efficient code.
• Maintain existing applications and provide L3 production support, including off-hours availability.
• Produce design documents and class diagrams to support project implementation.
• Collaborate with lead developers and perform testing with peers and end users.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software development experience in object-oriented programming.
• 5+ years of professional programming experience specifically in Python.
• Experience with SQL, Oracle, or non-relational database technologies.
• Knowledge of building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Experience with distributed message system design and development.
• Strong understanding of the Agile development life-cycle and SDLC.
• Proficiency in unit and integration testing, including test automation.
• Working knowledge of object-oriented databases.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a similar field.
