Description

You will build and maintain scalable capital reporting applications using Python, ensuring compliance with Basel regulatory rules.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data source elements and business logic for calculating risk-weighted assets and generating capital ratios.
• Develop optimized Python code for data processing, system integration, and performance tuning.
• Migrate existing systems to a scalable and sustainable capital reporting platform.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and profile data-intensive applications to resolve performance issues.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of professional experience in Python development.
• 4+ years of hands-on experience with big data technologies, specifically Spark and Hadoop.
• Expertise in performance tuning and optimization of data-intensive applications.
• Strong SQL programming skills, preferably with Oracle Exadata.
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver regulatory reporting solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
