Description

Develop and maintain Python-based applications for Independent Price Verification, including data transfer tools and RESTful web services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data replication tools between NoSQL and Oracle (Exadata) databases.
• Build and maintain RESTful web services for efficient application integration.
• Develop data-grid centric UIs using the Angular framework.
• Write optimized SQL queries and design database tables for efficient data handling.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment, including TDD and CI processes.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of overall technology experience.
• 3-5 years of Python development experience.
• Strong experience with SQL database design, tuning, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in NoSQL and Oracle Exadata.
• Experience with Angular for UI development.
• Knowledge of Java or C++.
• Familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Continuous Integration.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
