Description

Develop and maintain Python-based applications for Independent Price Verification in Global Markets.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data transfer tools to replicate data between NoSQL and Oracle (Exadata) databases.
• Build and maintain RESTful web services for efficient application integration.
• Develop data-grid centric UIs using the Angular framework.
• Write optimized SQL queries and design database tables for efficient data handling.
• Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration processes within an Agile environment.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of overall technology experience.
• 3-5 years of Python development experience, including object-oriented software design.
• Experience with other programming languages such as Java or C++.
• Strong experience with SQL database design, tuning, and query optimization.
• Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Oracle (Exadata) databases.
• Proficiency in building RESTful web services.
• Familiarity with Angular for UI development.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience with daily stand-ups and pair programming.
