Description

Develop and maintain Python-based applications for Independent Price Verification and build RESTful web services for application integration.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data transfer tools to replicate data between NoSQL and Oracle (Exadata) databases.
• Develop data-grid centric user interfaces using the Angular framework.
• Write optimized SQL queries and design database tables for efficient data handling.
• Ensure code quality through test-driven development (TDD) and continuous integration processes.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment, including daily stand-ups and pair programming.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of overall technology experience.
• 3-5 years of Python development experience.
• Experience developing object-oriented software in Python, Java, or C++.
• Strong experience with SQL database design, tuning, and query optimization.
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases and Oracle (Exadata).
• Ability to build and maintain RESTful web services.
• Experience with the Angular framework for UI development.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
