Description

Build and maintain enterprise-scale applications using Python and Django.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise software using Python 3.6+ and Django 3.2+.
• Design and manage SQL database architectures, specifically MySQL.
• Execute unit and integration testing to ensure code quality.
• Manage the full software development life cycle following standard engineering practices.
• Collaborate within a team to manage multiple simultaneous projects.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Python 3.6+.
• Significant experience with the Django web framework 3.2+.
• Strong expertise in SQL database architecture and MySQL.
• Proficiency with Git source control, preferably GitLab.
• Working knowledge of Linux and the Linux command line.
• Experience with software testing frameworks, preferably Cypress.
• Must be a US Citizen.
• Ability to attend meetings during US Central Time business hours.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing, running, and managing containers with Podman.
• Knowledge of Sync/Async concepts, uWSGI/ASGI, or websockets.
• Familiarity with C/C++, Java, or Javascript.
