Description

You will build Python applications, APIs, and automation scripts within AWS environments to support data defense, classification, and tagging initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build automation scripts for infrastructure provisioning on AWS cloud environments.
• Translate technical specifications into code for complex new projects or enhancements.
• Create proof of concepts for data security and classification initiatives.
• Maintain third-party solutions used for data defense and DLP efforts.
• Write, test, and report on code while participating in design and code inspections.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of total professional experience.
• 5+ years of Python development experience, including boto3.
• 5+ years of experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, CloudFormation, and DynamoDB.
• 5 to 8 years of experience in AWS solutioning and backend/API development.
• Hands-on experience with Glue catalog, IAM, SNS, and resource tagging.
• Strong experience with CI/CD tools.
• Experience maintaining third-party or custom-built solutions on AWS infrastructure.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with DLP tools or data classification efforts.
• Experience in Data Privacy or Governance.
• Experience with EKS and containers.
