Description

Develop Python components for an enterprise reporting platform based on financial models.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build, test, and deploy RESTful API-based services within the application middle layer.
• Design, write, and maintain high-quality software code and automated tests for web interface applications.
• Develop scalable calculations to maintain performance over large data sets.
• Create shared services components and automate test and deployment processes.
• Collaborate with DevOps, UI, and other IT groups to manage CI/CD and deployment tasks.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Python Developer.
• Proficiency in Python and web frameworks including Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
• Experience with NumPy and pandas for data processing.
• Strong knowledge of Relational Databases.
• Experience building RESTful web services in a professional environment.
• Testing expertise using Pytest, Unittest, Monkey patch, or pytest-mockito.
• Hands-on experience with Linux and Docker.
• Competency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, Git, Gitlab, Gradle, Conda, and pip.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience working within financial services companies.
