Description

You will build Python and PySpark-based microservices for a data-oriented modernization project.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Python, PySpark, and AWS EKS.
• Perform system, functional, and data analysis on legacy systems including Informatica, SAS, AutoSys, and DB2.
• Create technical and functional requirement documents and data mappings from business requirements.
• Manage DevOps workflows including Docker/container-based deployments to AWS EKS using Jenkins.
• Write automated tests using Behave/Cucumber and Pytest based on the new microservices architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with AWS EKS and Docker.
• Knowledge of Postgres Database and Snowflake.
• Familiarity with Jenkins, SonarQube, and Fortify.
• Experience with Behave/Cucumber and Pytest for automation.
• Understanding of legacy tools: Informatica and SAS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with reporting, application development, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with Java, Spring Boot, AMQs, AutoSys, DB2, and Tableau.
