Description

You will own the development and troubleshooting of REST APIs and AWS infrastructure automation.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain REST APIs using Python.
• Automate infrastructure on AWS, specifically managing EKS clusters.
• Troubleshoot production issues across the stack on a rotational on-call basis.
• Collaborate within an Agile engineering team of 10 to deliver product features.
• Utilize Jenkins and Bitbucket for CI/CD pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of development experience in Java or Python.
• 5+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud experience.
• Deep expertise with Kubernetes, specifically EKS.
• Proficiency with Istio and Helm for service mesh and package management.
• Experience with AWS services including IAM and RDS.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex system issues.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java development as an alternative to Python.
