You will design, develop, and maintain software solutions using Python on Linux-based platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain software solutions using Python and shell scripting in Unix/Linux environments.
• Automate system tasks and workflows through scripting to improve efficiency.
• Support existing applications through troubleshooting, performance tuning, and feature testing.
• Enhance file transfer infrastructure and participate in deployment processes.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and system standardization.

Required Skills

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience with Python and shell scripting.
• Proficiency with SQL and relational databases.
• Working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Experience working with various file formats and transfer protocols.
• Ability to support early morning shifts starting at 6:00 AM.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud platforms such as GCP, AWS, or Azure.
• Experience in high-volume data environments.
• Background in financial services or market data.
