Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Python and microservices architecture.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build scalable RESTful APIs using FastAPI and SQLModel.
• Write clean, efficient, and asynchronous Python code.
• Design optimized PostgreSQL schemas and queries.
• Implement API security, caching, and rate-limiting strategies.
• Manage deployment and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes/OpenShift.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with FastAPI and SQLModel.
• Proficiency in designing RESTful APIs.
• Experience with Redis for caching.
• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL schema design and query optimization.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes or OpenShift.
• Understanding of microservices architecture.
• Experience with unit testing, integration testing, and CI/CD workflows.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Kafka, Prometheus, or OpenTelemetry.
• K knowledge of stale data lifecycle handling.
