Description

You will design and implement high-performance REST APIs for vulnerability management platforms.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable RESTful APIs using FastAPI, SQLModel, and Redis.
• Write clean, efficient Python code and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Optimize database schemas, queries, and API performance through caching and rate limiting.
• Develop automated test suites and implement workflows for data retention and lifecycle auditing.
• Mentor junior developers through regular code reviews.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of professional Python development experience.
• Expertise in asynchronous programming with Python.
• Strong experience with FastAPI, Flask, or Django REST.
• Deep understanding of REST API design principles and security best practices.
• Solid experience with SQL databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Docker and containerized environments such as OpenShift or Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in writing unit and integration tests.
• Familiarity with event-driven architecture and tools like Kafka.
