Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain web scraping scripts and tools using Python to gather data from multiple sources.
• Process and structure scraped data to ensure accuracy and readiness for analysis.
• Automate scraping tasks and optimize scripts for performance, scalability, and reliability.
• Solve technical challenges related to dynamic web content, anti-scraping measures, and large-scale extraction.
• Ensure all data collection methods comply with legal standards, terms of service, and privacy laws.

Required Skills

• Proven expertise in Python and its ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with web scraping tools including BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, and Selenium.
• Strong understanding of web technologies: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
• Familiarity with network protocols and handling data formats like JSON, XML, and CSV.
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.
