Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Python Developer with strong Market Data experience to design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications supporting trading, risk, and analytics platforms. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience working with real-time and historical market data feeds, financial instruments, and data processing frameworks in a capital markets environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Python-based applications, ETL for market data ingestion, processing, and distribution.
• Integrate real-time and historical market data feeds (Equities, FX, Fixed Income, Derivatives).
• Work with APIs, FIX protocol, and vendor feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Reuters, etc.).
• Design data pipelines, ETL for high-volume, low-latency environments.
• Perform data normalization, validation, and transformation.
• Support trading, risk, and quantitative analytics teams with reliable data solutions.
• Optimize performance and scalability of data services.
• Troubleshoot production issues related to market data systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including traders, quants, DevOps, and infrastructure.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong experience in Market Data systems (real-time & historical).
• Experience working in Capital Markets / Investment Banking domain.
• Knowledge of financial instruments (Equities, FX, Futures, Options, Bonds).
• Experience with:
• Pandas, NumPy
• REST APIs
• WebSockets / streaming data
• SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, Oracle)
• Linux environment
• Understanding of low-latency systems and high-throughput architectures.
• Experience with version control (Git).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

Must to Have:

• Experience with Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or other market data vendors.
• Knowledge of FIX protocol.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.
• Understanding of trading platforms and order management systems.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines
