Description

You will build and maintain software solutions using Python within a Test Driven Development environment, focusing on distributed computing frameworks and microservices.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Gather user requirements to design and implement technical solutions.
• Develop distributed computing frameworks using Python.
• Build and maintain microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Manage deployments using DevOps tools and automation toolkits.
• Work within an Agile development lifecycle to deliver software updates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python development using TDD.
• 5+ years of experience in a developer capacity using Python, Java, C++, or C#.
• 3+ years of experience designing distributed computing frameworks in Python.
• 3+ years of experience with Relational Databases such as SQL Server, Oracle, or DB2.
• 3+ years of experience in microservices and RESTful API development.
• 3+ years of experience with DevOps tools including Git and Jenkins.
• 3+ years of experience working in Agile environments.
• BS/BA degree or higher.

Preferred Skills

• 2+ years of experience with NoSQL databases.
• 1+ years of experience in Cloud Computing (Azure, GCP, or AWS).
• 2+ years of JavaScript development using React or Angular.
