Description

You will lead the development of data processes to manage, store, and analyze large volumes of music data.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement ETL processes to ingest Excel, Text, JSON, and HTML into SQL Server.
• Own algorithm development projects from design through QA, deployment, and analysis.
• Develop automated workflows for ingesting, consolidating, normalizing, and analyzing complex datasets.
• Integrate API functionality and third-party data into website and back-end processes.
• Build and recommend new data platforms to meet business requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience managing large datasets and programming.
• 7 years of experience in full SDLC methodologies.
• Expert-level Python proficiency, specifically with Pandas, ORM, SQLAlchemy, OS, logging, urllib, Numpy, and Matplotlib.
• Expert fluency in SQL-based data manipulation and Microsoft SQL Server.
• Advanced knowledge of database design, schema construction, and multi-tier architecture.
• Strong experience with data analytic tools, specifically PowerBI and Tableau.
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills, including Macros, Pivot Tables, and complex formulas.
• Proficiency with Visual Studio Code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Beautiful Soup, SciPy, and Scikit-learn.
• Familiarity with Power Pivot and Power Query.
• Experience in Music Royalties.
