Description

You will design, develop, and maintain data-driven applications supporting trading, risk, and analytics platforms using Python.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain Python-based applications, ETL pipelines, and data ingestion systems for market data.
• Integrate real-time and historical market data feeds including Equities, FX, Fixed Income, and Derivatives.
• Design high-volume, low-latency data pipelines for normalization, validation, and transformation.
• Troubleshoot production issues and optimize the performance and scalability of data services.
• Collaborate with traders, quants, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable data solutions.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in Python development.
• Strong experience with Market Data systems, specifically real-time and historical feeds.
• Proficiency in Pandas, NumPy, and SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle).
• Experience integrating REST APIs and WebSockets for streaming data.
• Hands-on experience with version control (Git) and Linux environments.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with Kafka or other streaming technologies.
• Understanding of FIX protocol and market data vendor feeds (e.g., Bloomberg, Refinitiv).
• Background in Capital Markets or Investment Banking domains.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with low-latency systems and high-throughput architectures.
• Basic knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understanding of trading platforms and order management systems.
