Description

Build backend systems for the Trade Surveillance team to detect fraud and market abuse.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic using Python to monitor orders and trade activity.
• Analyze data across global markets and asset classes to identify suspicious patterns.
• Collaborate on fraud detection workflows and surveillance tooling.
• Support frontend requirements when necessary to improve internal tools.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python, specifically for backend development.
• Experience with Quartz.
• Working knowledge of financial markets and asset classes.
• Background in fraud detection or market abuse surveillance.
• Ability to communicate technical findings clearly.
