Description

You will build backend systems for the Trade Surveillance team to detect fraud and market abuse across global markets.

Responsibilities

• Develop backend logic and systems for trade surveillance and fraud detection.
• Monitor orders and trade activity across all asset classes.
• Integrate backend services with frontend components as needed.
• Collaborate with the team to identify market abuse patterns.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Python and back-end web development.
• Experience with Django and JSON.
• Knowledge of databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Working knowledge of CSS for frontend tasks.
• Experience with Quartz.
• Background in financial services or banking.
• Understanding of multiple asset classes.
• Degree in any field.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience in fraud detection or trade surveillance.
• Knowledge of global markets and trade activity.
