Description

You will build and maintain front, middle, and back office platforms for investment banking clients.

Responsibilities

  • Build new trade capture systems and real-time, multi-threaded risk portals.
  • Execute a complete rewrite of the reporting suite.
  • Implement precognitive error checking and intelligent auto-correct for OATS.
  • Manage the full software development life cycle.
  • Explain technical solutions to non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • 7+ years of experience with C++ and/or Python/scripting.
  • Strong system design skills for software-oriented architecture.
  • Proficiency with UNIX and UNIX scripting languages.
  • Experience with multi-threaded programming.
  • Experience working with relational databases.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Buy-side/Sell-side order management systems.
  • Previous consulting or investment banking experience.
