Description

You will serve as the Feature Lead for a derivatives risk system within a capital markets environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement a large scale enterprise end of day risk system using QUARTZ.
• Lead an agile development team to deliver new products and functions for business users.
• Provide architectural recommendations, technical roadmaps, and environment optimizations.
• Deliver L3 support to maintain application stability.

Required Skills

• 5-10 years of experience in a high pressure financial institution environment.
• Hands-on Python development and object-oriented programming (OOP).
• Extensive knowledge of designing and implementing large scale distributed systems.
• Strong understanding of design patterns and software engineering best practices.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum management and associated Agile tools.
• Strong problem solving, written, and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of credit derivatives.
• Familiarity with Risk management and P&L attribution.
