Description

You will own the backend logic, API integration, and data persistence layers for Python-based services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Python with a focus on scalable object-oriented code.
• Design, build, and consume RESTful APIs to support application functionality.
• Integrate applications with relational databases, specifically DB2 or Sybase.
• Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in Agile development cycles and manage version control using GIT.

Required Skills

• 11+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with DB2 or Sybase relational databases.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) and common data structures.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.
• Proficiency with regular expressions.
• Practical knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and GIT version control.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Any Graduate degree in Computer Science or related field.
