Description

You will lead the development and improvement of network products by building scalable applications and solving complex technical problems.

Responsibilities

• Build applications using modern design patterns, architectural principles, and current industry coding standards.
• Develop high-quality, well-documented, and efficient code to address business requirements.
• Write unit, integration, and functional automation tests to ensure software quality.
• Collaborate with product owners and tech leads to define feature stories and technical designs.
• Coach team members and provide technical guidance to remove impediments.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Advanced expertise in Python, JavaScript, or Perl.
• Strong background in distributed systems, object-oriented programming, and design patterns.
• Experience with microservices, multi-threading, concurrency, and parallel processing.
• Proficiency with APIs, REST, JSON, SOAP, XML, and JDBC.
• Hands-on experience with data storage including MySQL and relational data structures.
• Experience with data streaming tools such as SQS, Kinesis, Kafka, and SNS.
• Knowledge of Agile development methodologies and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS development architecture patterns.
• Background in the financial or insurance industry.
