Description

You will develop algorithms and datasets to support reading assessment development through NLP and data science techniques.

Responsibilities

• Implement innovative algorithms to solve Natural Language Processing problems.
• Curate high-quality datasets for model training and evaluation.
• Perform analyses, interpret results, and distill findings for stakeholders.
• Contribute to both the planning and execution of technical solutions.

Required Skills

• Strong Python programming skills.
• 1-3 years of experience developing and evaluating NLP solutions using rule-based and machine learning methods.
• Hands-on experience with NLTK, spaCy, or Stanford NLP.
• Experience with machine learning frameworks such as scikit-learn, Keras, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.
• Proficiency with Linux/Unix command line, Git version control, and regular expressions.
• Experience working in the AWS cloud.
• Understanding of English syntax and semantics.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with AWS SageMaker and deploying algorithms to the AWS cloud.
• Working understanding of deep learning, specifically transformer and encoder architectures.
• Linguistics coursework.
