Migrate and refactor existing Java-based spatial data management layers to Python, ensuring logic parity and system integrity.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Refactor J2EE codebases into Python 3.X applications.
• Manage data integrity and performance within Oracle databases.
• Analyze existing Java code to guide the migration process.
• Design, develop, test, and maintain new Python modules.
• Ensure version control using Git and IDEs like PyCharm.

Required Skills

• 10+ years professional experience with Python.
• Expert proficiency in Python 3.X.
• Strong fundamentals in Core Java and J2EE.
• Advanced Oracle database skills.
• Proficiency with Git version control.
• Experience using IDEs such as PyCharm.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, IoT, and ETL tools.
