You will design and build horizontally scalable components for the core platform, serving as a subject matter expert to support other developers.

Responsibilities

• Design and build horizontally scalable components within the major platform.
• Review code and provide feedback regarding best practices, performance, and stability optimizations.
• Act as a subject matter expert on deployed code to support other developers.
• Write reusable, extendable code to contribute to the core platform and simplify software architecture.
• Drive continuous improvement in system design and implementation.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in software development.
• Expertise in Python using functional and object-oriented programming.
• Experience with relational and NoSQL document databases.
• Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures.
• Experience building distributed, scalable services and microservices.
• Experience writing unit tests using pytest or unittest.
• Working knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and automation.
• GC, USC, or GC EAD status required.
