Description

You will build, deploy, and maintain backend services using Python and AWS serverless technologies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create and deploy serverless services on AWS, owning individual services and supporting them in production.
• Write unit and integration tests to ensure service reliability.
• Collaborate within an Agile, scrum-based team environment to deliver features.
• Design and implement scalable backend architectures using Python.

Required Skills

• 5-8 years of programming experience, with 3+ years of Python as the primary language.
• Experience creating and deploying serverless services.
• Working knowledge of AWS services including ECS/Fargate, Lambda, DynamoDB, API Gateway, EC2, Kinesis, ELK, and RDS.
• Proficiency with Git/GitHub and CI/CD pipelines (Concourse and Jenkins).
• Experience with Docker and database systems (PostgreSQL, MongoDB/DocumentDB, Redis).
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of GraphQL APIs.
• Experience with Asyncio style applications.
