Description

You will develop application software and provide technical support within a Big Data tech stack.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test application programs based on system specifications and architectures.
• Interface with architects to implement software solutions and conduct requirements gathering.
• Prepare detailed system modification requirements and ensure timely project turnovers.
• Review test plans and data to identify errors and revise programs.
• Analyze organizational needs to propose technical solutions and support team objectives.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and PySpark.
• Understanding of CI/CD methodologies.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working within a Big Data environment.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
