Description

You will develop Python-based solutions for POS systems and manage code translation processes.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop clean, modular, and maintainable Python code for POS applications.
• Integrate translated code within Unix/Linux environments.
• Execute unit and integration testing to ensure code reliability and functionality.
• Support CI/CD pipeline components and automate testing and deployment workflows.
• Review translated code to ensure alignment with program requirements and coding standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with at least one of the following: Java, C++, C#, or NodeJS.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Working knowledge of Unix/Linux environments.
• Understanding of data structures and data normalization techniques.
• Exposure to automated testing and CI/CD concepts.
• Strong understanding of software development best practices and coding standards.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of SQL for database development.
• Exposure to remote on-prem deployments, troubleshooting, and support.
• Familiarity with file-based data storage and retrieval.
