Description

Develop application software and provide technical support for systems of moderate complexity within a Big Data tech stack.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, code, and test programs based on application system designs and specifications.
• Interface with architects to design, code, test, and implement application programs.
• Conduct analysis of organizational needs to implement application systems and propose technology solutions.
• Review test plans and test data to identify errors and revise programs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software development.
• Proficiency in Python programming.
• Hands-on experience with Spark and PySpark.
• Understanding of CI/CD methodology.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture.
• Thorough understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Experience working within a Big Data tech stack.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the securities or financial services industry.
